Delete your account

You can ask us to delete your GuildWright account and personal data at any time, whether or not you still have the app installed.

How to request it

In the app, open Settings, find Your account, and choose Request account deletion. That reaches us directly and you can withdraw it from the same screen.

You do not need the app. Email support@guildwright.app from the address on your account, with the subject Delete my account. We reply to confirm before anything is removed, so nobody loses a company by mistake or by somebody else asking.

What gets deleted

Your sign-in, your name, email address and phone number, your profile, and your notification settings and devices. Once your account is gone you cannot sign in, and any receipts or photos you uploaded that are not attached to a company record go with it.

What your company keeps

GuildWright is used by companies, and some of what you did in it belongs to your employer rather than to you. Timecards, estimates, invoices, expenses and job records stay with the company as its business records, because it may be required to keep them for payroll, tax and contract reasons. Where your name appears on that history, tell us and we will discuss what can be removed without destroying the record.

If you own the company account

Deleting an owner account closes the whole company account, including everyone working in it and all of its data. We will not do that on a single click. We confirm with you first, give you the chance to export what you need, and tell your team's administrators before anything is removed.

How long it takes

We aim to confirm within a few business days and to complete deletion within 30 days of confirming. Backups roll off on their own schedule, so a copy can persist in an encrypted backup for a short period after that before it is overwritten.

Questions about any of this go to support@guildwright.app. You can also read the privacy policy or sign in at app.guildwright.app.
